During my PhD tenure, I interned as a research scientist at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory and Cisco Research.
My research focuses on network security, with a particular emphasis on Zero-Trust Network Architectures. This approach challenges the traditional assumption that internal networks are inherently trustworthy, rendering perimeter-based defenses insufficient against breaches. I am developing tools and pipelines for the automated deployment and enforcement of network defenses. Additionally, I am developing Machine Learning-based methods for learning and enforcing least-privilege security policies and distributed network access control.
